King Arthur Flour Demonstration & Community Service Program Huge Success!

On Wednesday, January 29, 7^th grade pods had the opportunity to watch a representative from the King Arthur Flour Life Skills Bread Baking Program to learn how to bake bread from scratch!  The presentation was provided to students through the lens of math and science and how it applies to the real world skill of baking.  Students were given flour and other materials to bake their own bread free of charge from King Arthur Flour.  They were then asked to bake two loaves – one for students to keep for their families and one to bring in and donate to Market Ministries.  Students enjoyed learning this important life skill and were able to provide a donation to needy people in the community!

Our amazing long-time volunteer and school store CEO Mr. Drew has an ongoing friendly wager with Normandin Assistant Principal Mr. Steve Farrell.  Each time the Broncos play the Patriots, the loser has to wear the game jersey of the opposing team.  Mr. Drew is a huge Broncos fan and Mr. Farrell a Patriots fan.
