The
students in Ms. Simmons and Ms. Barry's 21st Century Learning after school program are organizing a drive to collect items such as new or gently used
pajamas, underwear, socks, stuffed animals, books, blankets, toiletries etc.
All donations will be given to Gifts to Give. The students have been
working on making posters to advertise the drive, making spreadsheets to gather
data regarding the amounts of items donated and making boxes for the items to be
placed in. We are planning a trip to Gifts to Give on December 14th to help
bring and organize the donated items. The students are enthusiastic about this program
and enjoy helping the community!
