Normandin's Anti Bullying Message

 

Normandin Middle School launched its’ Student Advisory Program and Code Day Schedule this October in honor of Bullying Prevention Month.  One day in every 6 day cycle, students get to meet in small groups with an adult advisor to learn about important social issues such as bullying.  Each advisory session includes a class meeting component from the Olweus Bullying Prevention Program, an internationally recognized and evidence based anti-bullying curriculum!  NMS students and staff attended an Olweus Kick-Off Rally featuring the Normandin Pep Squad and the Hip Hop Group, Fame or Juliet, on their Music Motivates Me Tour!  Thanks to Ms. Aungst and Ms. Campos for their hard work planning and overseeing the Kick-Off Rally!
